Flying Orb Lab exists because the flying orb category is almost impossible to judge from listings. Every product page shows the same photograph of a glowing ball hovering above a child's palm, and every one of them promises boomerang flight. Only some of them do it.
How we test
We buy every unit ourselves at retail. Each orb is flown for at least two weeks by an adult and by children aged six to eleven, indoors and outdoors. The core measurement is a ten-throw return count run on separate evenings, alongside timed flight and charge cycles, a weight check on a kitchen scale, and a finger-gap check on the cage.
How we make money
We earn affiliate commissions when readers buy through our outbound links, including as an Amazon Associate. Commissions never influence rank order. Where a manufacturer does not publish a verifiable price, we print "Price unavailable" rather than inventing one.
